New Era Farmers Market

Bi-Weekly | 2nd & 4th Tuesdays
June – September
4:00 – 7:00pm
New Era Christian Reformed Church

The New Era Farmers Market is a seasonal, biweekly event hosted by New Era Christian Reformed Church. The Market was established in 2016 as an outreach ministry to serve the community with food access and to meet nutritional needs.

Local vendors offer fresh produce, flowers, crafts, cat and dog treats, jewelry and organic herbs and spices in the church parking lot, while food trucks provide visitors with dinner.

Live entertainment performs on the outdoor stage from 5-7pm – a variety of family-friendly bands playing Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and Americana.

Programs

The Market accepts several programs to help supplement people’s grocery budgets, including: SNAP/EBT, Double UP Food Bucks, Senior Market Fresh, WIC Project Fresh, and our own Kids Power of Produce Club and Senior Power of Produce Program.

The Senior Power of Produce Program issues $4 in tokens for free produce for those 62 years and older.

The Kids Power of Produce Club meets from 4-5pm at each market, offering fun activities, prizes, and tokens for free produce.

Support

The Market depends on the support of New Era Christian Reformed Church, grants, business and community donations to operate. It is run by volunteers.
